Ter Roshak headed cadet training on Ironhold. He was a rugged, and very old and wrinkled, but fearsome looking Falconer Commander. He had a prosthetic arm, and a jagged head and face. Under Ter Roshak's leadership, the Ironhold training grounds produced many fine warriors from its cadets. In old days Ter knew and had fought alongside the respected Star Colonel Ramon Mattlov, cadet Aidan's genefather. Ter Roshak respected and learned a lot from Ramon Mattlov, and he gain much of his success from immitating the ways of his friend and Falcon hero. Ter Roshak considered cadet Aidan almost a reincarnation of Ramon Mattlov, and hoped the cadet would succeed as a Warrior. He was sure Aidan's sibkin cadet Marthe would succeed. After Aidan failed his Trial of Position, Ter Roshak gave him a second chance to become a Warrior. Against Clan custom, he took Aidan from the Technician Caste he had been relageted to and plotted the removal of a freebirth cadet in order to put Aidan in the cadet's freebirth sibko. The clever and skilled young freeborn cadet Jorge, and all in his company were slain in an "accident" that Ter Roshak set up. Ter even set up and covered their Falconer's death. Cadet Aidan succeeded in his second attempt at a Trial of Position. He and his fellow cadet Horse worked together with teamwork to pass their test, both becoming MechWarriors. After Star Commander Aidan spilled the truth of his origins, Ter Roshak had to face the criminal deeds of his past. He, Aidan, Star Captain Joanna, and MechWarrior Horse, were brought to trial before the Council. Ter Roshak was convicted, and all of them had to fight battles in order to escape the worst judgement and total loss of ranks. They won the Trial, but Ter Roshak now lost his honor, and gave up on the desire to continue forward. Not long after the Trial, Ter Roshak signed up to be part of a solahma unit where Warriors would be used for suicide missions for the good of the Clan. He hoped that the final battle would give him his last hope for glory and honor. Ter Roshak died as a foot soldier in one of these solahma missions helping the Jade Falcons in a push against the Inner Sphere. |
