The man formerly known as Ragnar Magnusson, son of Elected Prince Haakon Magnusson of the Free Rasalhague Republic, was captured as a bondsman from the Wolves (in Exile) during a Wolf raid on the planet Utrecht. He possesses useful insight into the hearts and minds of the people of Rasalhague. Since his capture. his return to warrior status has be outstandingly fast, thanks to his impressive skills as a MechWarrior and a wisdom beyond his years. He has served as an advisor to Ulric Kerensky, Phelan Kell, Anastasius Focht and Victor Steiner-Davion. He now serves the Ghost Bear Khans as an advisor regarding the captured people of Rasalhague and as Star Colonel of Alpha Galaxy's First Rasalhague Bears Cluster.

Star Colonel Ragnar was captured by Clan Wolf early in the Inner Sphere invasion. By dint of hard work and exceptional ability, he soon earned warrior status and the rank of Star Captain. He accompanied the Wolfs (in Exile) to the Inner Sphere after the Refusal War, and his insight into Clan Customs proved vital in the Inner Sphere's victory on Coventry against Clan Jade Falcon.

Toward the end of 3060, Khan Kell took his fourth Wolf Guards to Utrecht, formerly of the Draconis Combine, and challenged the Bears for the contents of one newly arrived Ghost Bear "ark" ship. The prefab buildings and equipment it contained included resources for building entire factory complexes, which the Wolves very much needed. The Ghost Bears accepted the challenge and even allowed the Wolves safcon. Star Colonel Ranna Kerensky led the main drive, while Star Captain Ragnar led a flanking maneuver that met heavy resistance from the elite trinary command of the Third Bear Guard. Ragnar's Trinary fell after hard fighting, and Ragnar was claimed as bondsman by Ghost Bear Star Colonel Sarah DelVillar.
