MechWarrior Neta is a Warrior who was born among the Nova Cats but now lives as a Ghost Bear warrior after being a bondsman. She is a stocky woman with blonde hair cut as a mohawk. Neta is viewed by most Ghost Bear warriors as strange because she has Nova Cat intuitions and visions. She has been unable to totally rid herself of all Nova Cat vistiges. Though a Ghost Bear and learning the ways and spirit of the Bear, she will never lose her Nova Cat upbringing and instincts. Because of her spiritual Nova Cat qualities, and visions which most Ghost Bears cannot understand and have no desire to try to fathom, Neta has somewhat a hard time making friends among Ghost Bear warriors. However, she does not hold attitudes or grudges on anyone for their lack of understanding. Shortly after Star Captain Angela Bekker created her new trinary, the members wanted to pick a name for their unit. MechWarrior Neta came up with the name Stalking Bears which partly came out of a premonition she had. Weeks later after the entire Stalking Bear trinary had gone through rigorous heavy simulator and 'Mech training, Neta a vision of a one pawed ghost bear in danger - that a hunter was stalking Angela Bekker who was the bear in her dream - which implied to Angela Bekker that Toffen would be attacked. Within days a Wolf Clan jumpship arrived in nearby space. Star Colonel Dirk Radick challenged Angela Bekker to a Trial of Possession for the world of Toffen. As they usually became true, Star Captain Angela Bekker came to trust Neta's visions, and they helped her in her readiness, battle plans, strategies, and decision making. Neta's favorite 'Mech to pilot is the Kingfisher. |
