Star Colonel Logan Wirth was a strange looking mechwarrior. He had yellowish skin, and a mean face with narrow slitlike eyes. Logan Wirth was stationed on Huntress to help lead the garrisson forces there. He despised being in the position out of the front line and occupation zones.

Logan Wirth served under the new Galaxy Commander Russou Howell on Huntress and he despised Howell, and thought he was not befitting in his position. He hated Jade Falcon Star Captain Horse who was captured on Huntress by Russou Howell. Howell was interested in the Jade Falcon freeborn Warrior and wanted to test his abilities and loyalty to the Falcons, but Logan hated Horse the whole time and believed Horse had to be weak since he was freeborn. Though very skillful in hand to hand combat, Logan Wirth was defeated by Horse on several occasions in fights and duels.

One day, after so much testing of his skill and integrity, Horse defeated Logan on a hand to hand battle. But Horse was so enraged during this fight, that he forcefully ran while carrying Logan up to the top of the pyramidal Smoke Jaguar genetic repository building, and threw Logan over in a spectacle to show to the Jaguars that he was truly a warrior even though he was freeborn. Only after that did Horse realize that he had killed Logan Wirth. Though he hated the man, Horse was unhappy that he killed a valuable Clan warrior.
