In many respects Kieran is a foil to his Khan, Bly committed to the Josian Cloister and its Crusader leanings. During the final stages of the Great Debate, as a Cluster Commander in Beta Galaxy Kieran was elected ecKhan of his Cloister, and subsequently led the vocificerous throng that finally convinced Khan Steiner to vote for the invasion. His skill made Kieran a natural choice for saKhan. Many mistake his slight build and short stature as signs of weakness, but none who have fought him have made the same mistake twice.
