![]() The younger Star Colonel Kael Pershaw |

Kael Pershaw holds the dual positions of head of the Jade Falcon watch and Loremaster to both the Falcons and the Grand Council. More machine than man, Pershaw holds the rank of Star Colonel, but has not seen combat since the early days of the invasion. Deputy commander of the Turkina Keshik until the Battle of Tukayyid, Pershaw later became the head of the operations for Falcon forces, providing tactical coordination. Though in recent years his military role has dwindled, Pershaw remains one of the sharpest intellects in the Clans, and is widely respected among the Clans's upper echelons despite his infirmity. Few actually like him, his abrasive personality has earned him many enemies, but they respect his Crusader fervor and abilities. Though the Watch is underdeveloped by Inner Sphere standards, Pershaw has used it to good effect against Inner Sphere and Clan enemies. His greatest success came in 3054, when he so confused ComStar operative in the Falcon Occupation Zone that they misattributed the location and allegiance of many Clan units. Indeed, according to ComStar's inital reports, the Falcon Iota Galaxy comprised five Clusters, four of them belonging to the Wolf Clan. Kael Pershaw sustained many combat wounds and he has many bodily scars. His fierce old ragged face is scarred with scratches, and is half covered with a metal mask. He has a mechanical arm and leg, to replace what he lost in combat; they allow him to have mobility and use of limbs, but they fail to make him combat worthy, which only brings him frustration and anger. Long ago, during his degrading stay as commander of the garisson station on the backwater world of Glory, an inbound Falcon dropship was attacked and Star Colonel Kael Pershaw was challenged by Clan Wolf over his own spawn. Kael Pershaw thought he could hold his own against Clan Wolf, but it soon showed in battle that the Wolves might win. During the fighting on Glory over his genetic legacy, Star Colonel Kael Pershaw had difficulty holding against the Wolf onslaught. Star Commander Jorge (Aidan) had ideas for unorthodox battle strategies to help win over the Wolves. Reluctantly Pershaw used Aidan's plans in a last effort. The strategy worked, the battle was won for the Falcons and Pershaw's genes remained in Falcon hands.
While on Glory Station, Kael Pershaw secretly had a romantic relationship with his aide, an Elemental Star Commander named Langa. He did well to keep this unClanlike affair under cover, but during the fighting against Clan Wolf over Pershaw's genetic legacy, Lanja died from wounds inflicted in combat. Kael Pershaw thought it would be best to forget about her, and he quickly did so.
