Jaime Wolf, a freeborn warrior of Clan Wolf, was ordered to create and lead the Wolf's Dragoons unit and go into the Inner Sphere work as mercenaries, but their true job was mainly to study the Inner Sphere through battles from hired contracts. Jaime Wolf's Dragoons were hired to fight for and against every house of the Inner Sphere. The Dragoons were then able to asess the strength of the Inner Sphere militaries, and they sent back the startling information to the Clan homeworlds that the Inner Sphere was no longer all too devastated technologically from the Succession Wars, and in fact actually advancing in technology and military might and beginning to thrive technologically and culturally. In the Inner Sphere the Wolf's Dragoons became well known for their professionalism and ability to get the job done. That was attributed to the fine leadership of Jaime Wolf. They were also a source of awe, and some Inner Sphere people wondered where they got their fine 'Mechs, including Star League era 'Mechs and technology. Jaime Wolf recieved a message from the Khan of Clan Wolf Kerlin Ward to ignore any order to return to the Clans. Later, hen he recieved the order to return, he obeyed the older message and ignored the call home, but Natasha Kerensky the famed Black Widow, and one of the few trueborn Dragoons, answered the call and went back to the Clan worlds to return to Clan life. The Wolf's Dragoons are no longer living under the Clan banner, and now live on thier own in the Inner Sphere as mercenaries and members of the Inner Sphere. They have their own world of Outreach, and its 'Mech factories, sibko genetic breeding facility, and combat training grounds. The Wolf's Dragoons and will always fight anyone they are hired to fight, including the Clans if need be. Jaime Wolf lived to be an aging man. He is now dead and his unit is lead by his daughter Maeve Wolf. Jaime Wolf's favorite 'Mech to pilot was the Archer. |
