After she was assigned to protect the world of Toffen, Star Captain Bekker picked him for serving in her trinary, which he did not mind. This trinary which was soon named the Stalking Bears would be the only force to protect the planet.

Star Captain Bekker often urged her Star Commannders to give ideas for plans and strtegies, although she sometimes already had her mind made up. Constant Tseng often has good insights but they sometimes did not always work well as successful decisions for the battles that would ensue after the conniving Star Captain Dirk Radick of Clan Wolf challenged the Angela Bekker's trinary to a tiral of possession over Toffen.

Some time prior to being stationed to Toffen, Constant Tseng took a sphere man name Barthelow bondsman after the Ghost Bears fought against the Inner Sphere. Barthelow was a good enemy warrior, which was why Constant Tseng took interest in him. Barthelow learned Clan ways well enough for Tseng's liking. Afer he showed dedication and gave hard work during the trial, and a warrior was needed to help fight, Constant cut Barthelow bondcord and let him take part in the final fighting for Toffen against the Wolves.
