Trent met Star Commander Allen while on a JumpShip traveling on the Exodus Road. Allen was in a similar situation to Trent. He too had been a victim of Paul Moon's cruel ways. Paul Moon had beaten Allen in a Trial and severely damaged Allen's arm.. rendering him to spaceborne marine duty, rather than front line duty as an Elemental. Allen and Trent became friends on their journey, though Trent never let him know of his and Judith's plans of spying for ROM and sending Clan secrets to the Inner Sphere. Multiple times Trent and Allen played chess and chatted together while on the JumpShip.

Star Commander Allen is a large and friendly Elemental with blond hair. One of his arms is badly scarred along its length from the fight with Paul Moon.
