Hunting
Zanek sets out from Fetladral and treks out in the mountains out hunting for bandits again.
She climbs around hills and finds some bandit Mechs, tanks and vehicles. She kills some mechs and tanks. As she goes on the land is more deeply forested. She walks past steep lushly vegetated and forested winding hills
discovers a hidden bandit base within a mountain and makes destruction there.
she attacks some mechs there. Zanek badly wounds a jennerIIC running around. She kills a female Warhammeriic guarding outside the base. Zanek cuts her up with lasers and devours her internals. Apparently most of the bandits are not at the base to guard it because it is poorly defended. Zanek chases a Nova into the base. Blows up tanks coming out of the base. Stomps on infantry. Blows up fuel tanks. Goes inside to get the Nova. He hides but she hits him some. She gets tired of hunting the coward and she goes deeper into the base and destroys things. Blows up ammo stores. Shoots equipment. Is ambushed in a room by a piloted Summoner. She shoots its cockpit and kills the pilot. Blows up more stuff. Is attacked by a strange 60 ton Mech. It uses lasers and PPCs. She hits it a little but it is quick and gets away before being hurt much. She searches around the base to get the bastly 60 ton Mech but it keeps getting away too fast. She then uses smarts to lure it into a trap. She corners it. Then it finds itself far outgunned. She asks the strange Mech that she considers has a good spirit if it wants to see what it is to be a real Warrior. The fierce but scared Mech decides to follow. Zanek also thinks the Mech may possibly become a good bondsman because it is young, and may be easier to teach.
Zanek takes the bandit captive. She continues to destroy things on her way out.
She kills more ground personnel, and takes down vehicles and tanks coming in from outside. Outside the base she stops and the bondsman watches confused. Zanek stands over the main road into the base and unloads a big stinky pile on it. Luckily for her the road there is narrow, and her mess will somewhat hinder traffic. The 60 tonner quietly watches and follows as soon as Zanek is done unloading and starts walking again. The Mech probably can smell the awful odors, but it does not act at all bothered by it, unlike Whongus Hazen. Zanek shoots more vehicles coming from the bandit hideout. They head away. Along the way Zanek is attacked by a Shadowcat. Zanek shoots him and almost kills him with upper body shots, but he runs off not wanting to die.
They trek back on the way home to Fetladral. Zanek asks the Mech its name. They continue toward Fetladral.
