Whongus's Battle
setting: highly detailed mazelike terrain many rock spires and jutting formations. whongus made previous studies of the combat arena before the trial began. whongus used the terrain to hide behind and to irritate zanek, and to recharge and cool down behind. Whongus knows about underground water pools and channels. He tries to lead Zanek into them. She does not fall for the underground channel. He succeeds once and she fell into a pool. He is amused at her being bathed. She manages to fire her way out of the rock walled pool. But in the end whongus is beaten after doing better in the beginning and middle of the fight. Zanek allows him to live to be stuck with the insult of defeat.
